★ The company

Built where the dealers are.

The Auto Loan Company started in 1962 buying sub-prime auto paper from independent dealers in Dallas. Sixty-four years later, we're still doing it — just with more dealers, bigger files, and a few extra services our customers asked us to add along the way.

We added OCCC consulting because dealers kept calling us with licensing questions. We added garage insurance because they couldn't find a carrier that understood BHPH. We added Frazer and Dealer Car Search because we got tired of watching good dealers run broken software. None of it was strategy — it was answering the phone.

★ Meet the principal

Chip Parker, since '88.

Chip runs the day-to-day. He's been doing it long enough to remember when "sub-prime" wasn't a dirty word and when every BHPH lot in Texas knew every other one by name. He still answers the phone himself — most days, before noon.

"We pick up the phone. We answer the question.
If the answer's no, we tell you why and what to fix."
Chip Parker · Principal
★ How we work

Three things we won't compromise on.

If you've worked with a national lender or a multi-state consultant, you know what's missing here. It's the things on the right.

— 01

A real person answers.

No phone trees. No "submit a ticket." You'll get Chip or someone who works five feet from him, every time.

— 02

A real number by day's end.

Same-day approvals on most funding files. Quotes by tomorrow morning on insurance, licensing, and software.

— 03

A real answer — even when it's no.

If we can't help, we'll tell you who can. We've sent dealers to competitors for thirty years and gotten more business back because of it.
